 It was a great way to end the year for the AdNU Alumni as they celebrated the 63rd Grand Alumni Homecoming last 30 December 2009 at the Ateneo de Naga University Campus.
The celebration started with a Mass at 7:30am with Fr. Nono Alfonso, SJ (of AdNU HS Batch '87) as the main celebrant, followed by the basketball championship round ('84 vs '87) at 9:00am at the university gym, with AdNU HS Batch '87 taking the top spot.
In the evening, the traditional Socials/Dinner and Induction of Officers were held at the Xavier Hall, with Batch '84 celebrating their Silver Jubilee year and Batch '59 celebrating their Golden Jubilee year. Atty. Francis Badilla ('84) gave the Welcome Remarks, followed by the Induction of Officers headed by Dr. Sancho Tolentino ('85) with Inducting Officer Fr. Joel Tabora, SJ, AdNU President.
This year, the HS 1979 Annual Awards for Outstanding Alumni were given to Hon. Jose Tuazon ('59) and Hon. David Sergio ('84).
The winners in the Juan Sanz Football Cup (with HS Batch '91 as Champion and HS Batch '84) were also presented.
The Golden and Silver Jubilarians gave their presentations. Batch '84 also announced their reach out contribution: a four-year college scholarship grant at the Ateneo de Manila University for one Ateneo de Naga High School graduate.
