AdNU Holds Institutional Retreats
The Annual Institutional Retreats for School Year 2008-2009 were held last July 10 - 12, 2008 . During these three (3) days, the university closed shop to give way for its administrators, faculty, and staff to pray, reflect on their work in the context of their relationship with our Lord, and discern God's movements in their lives.
This year's group retreats were as follows:
- Off-Campus and Live-In Silent Retreat, held at Mater Ecclesiae, Pili, Camarines Sur with Sr. Shiela Mae Jaso, R.C. as Retreat Director;
- Off-Campus and Live-In Midlife Spirituatlity Retreat, held at Caritas Christi, Concepcion, Naga city with Sr. Ana Malapitan, R.C. as Retreat Director;
- Open - Preached Live-Out Retreat, held at AdNU's Instructional Media Center (IMC) with Bro. Gil Donayre, S.J. as Retreat Director;
- Open - Preached Live-Out Retreat, held at the Fr. Pedro Arrupe, S.J. Convention Hall and at the Bro. Richie Fernando, S.J. Hall with Fr. Junjun Borres, S.J. And Bro. Nono Ordoñez as Retreat Directors respectively.
Ateneo de Naga University offers retreats such as these every year in preparation for the Feastday of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus, on July 31. They are organized by the Office of the Deputy Academic Vice-President for Formation and offered to all Ateneo employees.
The Office of the Deputy Academic Vice President for Formation is headed by Ms. Janet Badong - Badilla.
