ADNU Pioneer Nursing Batch Garners 70% passing rate on 2008 Board Exams

Pioneer Nursing batch of ADNU made an impressive mark on the University’s reputation as a school offering Nursing Education.  Sixty-four (64) out of ninety-two (92) examinees from the College of Nursing passed the June 2008 Nursing Board Exams, garnering a total of seventy percent (70%) passing rate.  This is twenty-seven marks above the national passing rate of forty-three percent (43%).

This marks a series of firsts for the Ateneo de Naga University since it opened its College of Nursing last 2004: first batch of nursing graduates last March 2008 with a total of  one hundred eighty-one (181), first take on the 2008 Nursing Board Exams and first batch of newly registered Nurses.   The College of Nursing has since grown in size from the four hundred forty (440) freshmen who first enrolled in 2004 to the eight hundred thirty-one (831) total number of enrolled this school year.  This achievement is a growing testament of the University’s mission to excellence and competence.
