 "Never doubt your power and capability to do things, and making things happen," Dr. Digna Alba, Chairperson of the Media Studies Department, stated in her opening speech in this year's Streaks of Light photo exhibit. Organized by the Media Studies Department, Streaks of Light VI: Naga sa Pagsubang Hanggang sa Pagsulnop Kan Saldang is a showcase of young photographers who could see beyond the usual everyday scenes of Naga City.
Presented in the exhibit are photographs of people, places, and objects in their everyday manifestations, captured with depth and dimension. Streaks of Light is an open exhibit from 29-30 September 2009 at the Arrupe Convention.
Dionisio De Jesus Lopes, a Media Studies Student from East Timor, received the Photo of the Year award with his entry “Dirty Wheel Soars.”
